Rajasthan: Student dies by suicide in Kota – World News Network

Kota (Rajasthan) [India], September 5 (ANI): A student who was preparing for medical entrance exam, was found hanging inside his rented apartment in Rajasthan’s Kota, police said on Thursday.
According to officials, the deceased has been identified as Parshuram, a resident of Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura.
He had come to Kota a week ago to prepare for the medical entrance exam.
On Wednesday night, the student was found hanging from the celing by the owner of his rented accomodation.
Jawahar Lal, an ASI with Jawahar Nagar Police, said, “Prima facie, it appears that the student died by suicide. The body has been sent for post mortem examination and we are further looking into the incident to ascertain the exact reason behind him taking the extreme step of ending his life.”
“The deceased’s father has made serious allegations against the coaching institute. We are further looking into it” he added.
